Sporty’s has been a Bloomingdale Icon since the 1970’s. Initially owned by Jim & Gayle Dvorak. In Spring of 2015, they hand the reins over to Laurie & Rocco Zaccardi, as they began their retirement.
Sporty’s has undergone many changes over the past 40+ years. Originally known as Sporty’s Red Hots, specializing in hot dogs, and similar menu items. In 1989, Jim & Gayle transitioned into strictly catering operations specializing in the Sporty’s Famous Chicken Tenders. In those first years Sporty’s served over 1 million chicken tenders, and the number has continued to grow. Both our Restaurant and Catering menus have a variety of options for just about anyone’s desires.
While Sporty’s has transitioned from a hot dog stand to catering, to what is now Sporty’s Restaurant & Catering the key important things have always remained the same; We use only quality ingredients, Our personal attention to the food, and the consistence of the menu items, no matter how big or small your order.
At Sporty’s we serve our guests, and your’ s food that we would gladly serve our friends and family. With that you can be confident that we stand behind our products proudly.

I have not been here for awhile, so we have decided to go there for dinner tonight! We have order a couple of side salads, meatballs sandwich, spicy chicken sandwich with fries. It took a hot minute to get our food, but they were busy.
I started with the salad and it was good, especially for the price ($2), fries were excellent as well, hand cut, made to order! The chicken sandwich was excellent too, perfectly spiced and fried, coleslaw and the pickles worked well with the sandwich! My SO liked her meatballs sandwich too!
Excellent experience! A+! Definitely will be back!
Just look at the menu! The Hamburgers are huge, chicken fingers are the thick beer batter style and amazing, the Steak sliders and Steak sandwiches are a MUST TRY..to believe. Perfect fries, wraps, salads,protein bowls, the food is fresh, top notch with endless choices.

Regardless what you order...you have to also order the Steak sliders, chicken fingers and Rueben rolls..so everyone at your table can try a sample.
